QLOTHO care is simple.

Do not use bleach or use fabric softener. Machine wash cold with like colors, tumble dry low or hang/lay flat. Iron, steam, or wear as is!

The good news is, the inside of each of our garments is finished with non-toxic antimicrobial coating, so they stay fresh longer between washes.

Unlike other moisturizing or functional fabrics, the many benefits of SeaCell™ are permanently embedded into our yarn. Our SeaCell™ yarn is produced by blending seaweed at the molecular level into the cellulose fiber itself.

Comfort Without Compromise

As we do not use fabric softeners, the fabric may temporarily lose some of its initial softness after your first wash.

No worries! A quick steam or gentle iron easily restores its fluidity. SeaCell™ fibers relax with heat, returning your QLOTHO piece to the original softness and fluidity you fell in love with.

This isn’t a flaw. It’s just the nature of high-integrity fabric made with purpose and minimal processing.

SeaCell™ is a cellulose-based fiber infused with seaweed-derived nutrients. Because it’s processed with minimal chemical treatment to retain its skin-benefiting properties, it lacks synthetic softening agents found in most conventional fabrics.

Without fabric softeners—which coat and “loosen” fibers—the cellulose structure can temporarily tighten after washing, particularly with strong detergents.

Heat (from steam or pressing) reactivates the SeaCell™'s natural pliability, softening it again without compromising its skin benefits.

No time to steam or press? Don’t worry—your QLOTHO piece will naturally soften with wear, relaxing gently against your skin.
